Guest Blog - Eileen Griffin brings you Dinner for Two!

I've been a bad blogger lately...I'll attempt to explain why before much longer, but before we get into that, I'm happy to welcome Eileen Griffin and her new Romance on the Go - Dinner for Two. Appetising cover here, I'll think you'll agree! Take it away, Eileen...

My newest release, Dinner For Two, is set in restaurant and food plays a pivotal role in bringing the two MC, Sonia and Tony, together. Since the holidays are almost upon us, I thought I’d share an easy recipe that not only looks pretty when served, but tastes heavenly. I know both Tony and Sonia would approve! Hope you enjoy it  Eileen

Baked Brie
Ingredients:
Wheel of brie – triple works best, but double works fine too)
Canister of crescent rolls OR a package of Phyllo dough
1/3 cup of chopped pecans
¼ cup Craisins
¼ cup honey
1 Tbsp dried rosemary
* Egg Wash (egg and 2 Tbsp of water whisked together) – if using Phyllo Dough

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine pecans, Craisins, honey and rosemary in a small bowl. Unroll crescent rolls and flatten (pinch perforations together to avoid holes) to make a “sheet” OR unroll several sheets of the phyllo dough. Set dough aside.
Scoop mixture over top of brie in the center, careful not to go over the sides. Drape crescent rolls or phyllo dough over the brie then flip it over and seal/pinch to completely cover the wheel. Flip it back over and set on the parchment paper lined baking sheet. If using the phyllo dough, brush the top with the egg wash to help the brie bake more evenly and create a shiny golden color.

Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes, then serve with fancy crackers or sliced apples. Enjoy!

Tony gently rubbed his finger along her bottom lip. "I had hoped everything would be perfect tonight because I wanted to impress you. When you came in for brunch that first Sunday and laid out your plans, not only were you beautiful, but you had a detailed description of what you wanted. On the catering side of things, you have no idea how attractive that is. Then, when you came in for your tasting, I didn't think I was going to make it through the afternoon without asking you out. But I have a strict rule: Don't date the clients until after the function is over. So I waited. Do you have any idea how hard it was to wait?"
Sonia shook her head slightly, then let her lips part. Instead of replying to him, she slid her tongue out to meet his finger, gently caressing the tip. He hissed in a breath, his eyes fixated on her tongue and lips. Feeling emboldened by his words, she leaned closer and drew his finger deeper inside her mouth, wrapping her lips around it as she laved it with her tongue.
"Sonia," he whispered. "You're so beautiful. But I didn't ask you up here for this."
She leaned back, his finger sliding out of her mouth. All the nerves and doubts she'd felt earlier were replaced by a heat that was coursing through her. She'd felt it all night in the kitchen with him and it was stronger now that she knew he wanted her as badly as she wanted him.
"I'm glad you asked me up here, Tony. But if we're being honest with each other, I think dinner can wait. You see, I've lost my appetite. For food, that is."
